About Me
Last spring and summer I grew some of my own vegetables and herbs. It was so much fun! Very rewarding to pick tomatoes that I grew. I'd like to do more of that.
I enjoy cooking and grilling out. I grill out year round and usually several times per week.
Learning is a total turn on for me. I like to be intellectually stimulated. Being able to carry on a wide ranging and in-depth conversation with someone is so much fun and extremely entertaining.
I love a well executed turn of phrase and I dig etymology.
I have a great time going out with my friends. Go to movies occasionally, like to watch movies at home. Love to cook anything from down home to Italian. Gardening and reading are like air to me.
I like to play darts, though I suck at it. I can drive a stick shift, I'm a great speller, I have changed flat tires without getting dirty and I like to hang my clothes on the clothes line. I think Guinness is yummy, but not as yummy as Fuller's ESB.
I'd like to build a friendship and let things go from there. I'd like to meet a great conversationalist with wide-ranging interests. Someone with insatiable curiosity, someone who laughs at silly jokes and gets subtle jokes. Oh, and someone who thinks The Emperor's New Groove is hilarious.
First Date
Darts and drinks? Bowling? Dinner? Something conducive to conversation and getting to know a little about someone. Darts and drinks has an advantage over dinner because you're doing something, maybe making for fewer akward moments. Plus you can talk smack. :)
