Here's a question. When people write you, why do they send a form letter, copy / paste email as a way of showing interest and starting a conversation?

As for me, I can chat with a complete stranger and within fifteen minutes it feels like we’ve known each other for years. Lest you think I’m out there trolling the streets for company, I do have a great group of friends. They’re the best for game nights (I’ve amassed a ton of useless knowledge, so I make an excellent Trivial Pursuit partner), a night out on the town, or catching a football game at our favorite local sports bar (I confess to being a pretty huge football fan).

As for you, you value a man who knows when to stop talking and focus on you. Listening without trying to 'fix' everything that may not be going your way. As men, our natural tendency is to get our toolbox and go to work. Sometimes that isn’t what’s needed.

You blend old fashioned values and modern sensibilities. You appreciate a door being held open for you.
