I'm reading alot of vonnegut lately.
The movie "sabrina" has been on tv alot. whenever it's on i watch it. It's always the julia ormond one. I like the audrey Hepburn one more but still, a good movie.
I made sweaters for most of the people on my list this past christmas. they all liked them. They promised that they liked the sweaters. they wouldnt lie about sweaters. I'm making more stuff for this coming christmas. It's going to be a hit. I can feel it.
I am debating about making myself a kilt or if i should just buy one so it won't fall apart but i would need it to have pockets for screw drivers and pliers and candy bars and a flash light and boxes of nerds and phone cable and a bottle of soapy water with a bubble loop thing inside...

I'd like to chill with someone who's a bit of an original.
It's easy to come across girls who are pretty. But when that's all you got, it's painfully iritating. Personality is crucial. Personality is fun. Personality is the thing.
I guess that makes me a little atypical for a guy but i'm good with that.

Most of my friends are "indoor cats" so when it comes to board games and movies, they've got it locked down. However, should i bring up rock climbing, bike riding, going to a post secret exhibit, going to a free opera...all i hear is crickets. exploring new and weird can be awesome (even if you end up looking silly half the time)

The korean "My Sassy Girl" was much better than the american.

I truly believe that good things things will not happen until you give them that intial start. that allows fate/kizmit/whatever to take over and guide you to what is yours

Lately i'm listening to the album "She and Him - Volume One " alot. like it might be some kind of OCD thing. but come one, how often do you get to hear a kazoo?
i made it through the whole of last winter without a winter coat. But that wasn't the great time. So i bought a new one. It's nice not being cold anymore. it's the little things in life.

you know what drives me crazy lately. Everyone calls themselves a nerd. But they don't qualify it in anyway. As if occasionally having an awkward moment at a house party somehow is the entrance exam. But when you ask one of these "nerds" about the last issue of Rasl or crack an awesome TNG joke, they just look at you funny. i'd say a notable degree of social ineptness is an actual qualitifaction.
more than a passing interest in the more acceptable nerdish interests of today - "i like comics, i play video games", it all smacks of people trying to act "uncool" in an effort to be cool. i'd say it's the behavioural equivalent of popping your collar in an effort to be fashionable. it just gets my goat is all.
