Question: why would one not read what someone has sent without cause? Is it a lack of physical attraction, or just what others would think at the Thanksgiving table?

I'm new to Texas and looking for what all others are: friends I can depend on, a lover I can relate to, and happiness in my professional and personal life.

I am not the typical male by any means. I am not afraid to be a romantic in front of my friends with the woman I care for. Afterall, isn't she supposed to be first?

This is not as simple as it looks is it?

I feel no need to pretend so, I am here to start a new life in Texas! I have lived in more places than I can discuss in this little box. It was a product of The hotel bar and restaurant design industry.

I am supposed to talk about myself here but then run the risk of sounding like I brag? Humility is a standard in my world and I cherish the feelings and thoughts of those around me. Not that I hold insecurities of me but, more to the side of being mindful of how my actions affect others. I look to surround myself with those like me who are actively aware and pursue to add something positive to those whom paths they cross. It is easy to wait for someone else to do something about your world but then, whose in control?

The companion I seek will be active, love to eat healthy with an occasional slide, smoking on occasionis understandable as even I indulge in a good cigar. I seek an adventuresome spirit who is comfortable with riding the sofa as well while sipoing cocoa, wine or beer. I do like to go out and am in process of opening a wine bar restaurant and catering operation with a business partner. See how I slid that in there so the diggers would miss it? Lol

So, if you're really looking to laugh a lot, take a shot but you better believe you may wet yourself a little! Ha!

On a first date...Honestly, I used to not date! the bulk of my last relationships have all come from either being approached or having a standing friendly relationship with those that I have become more than friends with. I would love to take a lady on a carriage ride from dinner to the theater and really have a romantic evening!
