Hello everybody! My name is Todd. Welcome to my profile!
The reason I am on here is because I want to find that special someone. When I find her, she will be the center of my universe. My soulmate would share many of my own qualities. I'm honest, polite, considerate, compassionate, and affectionate. I follow the Golden Rule. She would have to be intelligent, have a sense of humor, and be able to carry on a conversation. I don't like to rush into things, though. I like taking time to learn about the other person. I take a lot of notes while talking to someone on the phone!
I'm very witty at times. I love to make people laugh! I often say the most hilarious things. Other times, my humor is very subtle aimed at getting a reaction out of someone. I am often amused when the other person doesn’t have a clue what I’m talking about.
In a nutshell, I’m probably one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. I’m not into one-night stands, nor am I into head games. Women who get to know me are impressed by how nice I am. I am always perplexed at how some women are taken off-guard by how nice I am. I'm very laid back and hate drama!
I'm very affectionate: holding hands while walking down main street, getting to know the concrete; cuddling while watching a movie; gentle touches on the arm. I like all of it. I miss little acts of affection. (I had to be careful what I typed here. I almost typed "infection" instead of "affection". Infection of any kind I can do without!)
I’ve never been married and I have no children. For those of you who might be turned off by this, there's no big mystery here. I just never met that special person. I do like children, provided they don’t have jam hands. Somehow, kids always seem to have jam hands, even if there’s no jam in the house. I just can’t handle jam hands!

Seriously, though, some of my best memories are being around my two nieces while they were growing up. That's me in the Santa suit with my niece's 3-year old son.
I just graduated in June of 2008 with a Master's degree in Applied Statistics from Wright State University. I moved to Cincy in October to start my job as a SAS Programmer. As much as I enjoy it, I often feel that I would rather teach at a university.
I don't have a lot of hobbies, per se. My real passion is music. I have an eclectic taste in music: Black Label Society

, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, just to name a few. Look my playlist here and you'll see! I play guitar. I follow the philosophy that if you can't play guitar well, play loud!
I like to shoot pool, go to the gym, play euchre, play board games, watch movies and some sports, go shopping, go to museums, take walks in the park, and go on “one tank trips”. With the right person, though, I would be willing to do anything short of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. To me, it's not the activity that's important. It's the person I'm with at the time. Once again, airplane-jumping is the exception to the rule.
Here some other tidbits about me:
I love animals, especially cats and dogs.
I hate spiders! And I don't understand why they come into peoples' houses! You know, if I'm walking in the woods and I come across a web inhabited by a spider that is a hundred times my size, I don't go in! Period!!
I have been to California, England, Spain, and Hawaii in the four years I was in the Air Force. My favorite vacation spot is Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. I love the beach and the ocean.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you for looking at my profile. I hope to hear from you soon. If not, good luck with your search.

"When the winds of change blow, some build walls; others build windmills"--Old Chinese proverb
Dinner, conversation, coffee; someplace quiet where we can talk and get to know each other. Regardless of the activity, it would be something we would plan together.
