Hey there! Hola! Bonjour!
I'm just a normal down to earth guy...one of many here apparently. Alright then I'll admit it! I get stressed like anybody else, I just try not to take it out on anyone. Usually though, I’m very calm and centred. Probably has something to do with my training as an actor. I do let loose with friends and go crazy every now and then which usually includes drunken nights of dancing at bars, at houses, on people…in whichever order. People say my sense of humour is dark and slightly sarcastic, that‘s not to say I don‘t find the occasional lol cat hilarious (look up Simons Cat on you tube or Google, I laugh every time). I love my friends, we work very much as a family network which surprises a lot of people, even us sometimes. During the quiet times I love those rainy days that you watch from a window with a cup of tea or hot chocolate in your hands. I love to read, although University kills that desire in me on a weekly basis. A hot bath with scented oil, a good book, some candles and soft music…those are the ingredients of a great relaxing day for me.
My interests, like my music, are varied. Just as you can find Defying Gravity from the Wicked Musical and 30H!3 on my media player you can count on me to be baking a pie then discussing comic book characters over a video game. I’m fairly spiritual, it helps me survive in this harsh world. I don’t believe in hell, heaven, a single God or Devil by any means, but I know there is more to the world than what we can get from our senses. Physical activity wise I enjoy yoga, walking, martial arts (though it has been years) and horseback riding (Another I don’t do nearly enough). Artistically speaking, I’m an actor who plans to teach Dramatic Arts at the high school level. I’m a visual artist but do mostly abstract or symbolist pieces. I love music but can only sing with mild success. I love to dance but probably am not that good at it, I do it anyway. I used to write short stories, haven’t in a long time since academics have taught me everything becomes too cliché after awhile. I love animals, dogs and cats especially. Always had them growing up so I am used to large dogs and am rarely ever afraid of animals. That being said, I HATE snakes and most reptiles. Keep the creepy crawlies away from me please.

To describe me up in a nut shell for those who can't bother to read everything:

I'm an artist, an actor, a dreamer and a romantic. People also tell me I can be brutally honest, but I mean well by it.

I'm starting my 4th year at Trent in the Cultural Studies program, my expertise is in performance and social theory. Trust me, it sounds more impressive than it actually is.(If it even does.)

Something like this would be beyond my wildest dreams but well within the range of my hopes:
