I consider myself a down-to-Earth and independent person with a passion for knowledge, technology, the outdoors, and learning to live life simply. My family is very important to me, as is my career, education, and health. I have a good job that allows me to live comfortably but I will also be going back to graduate school to learn and experience even more. I can be a serious person, but I can also be fun and tend to be very sarcastic at times.

Although my profile indicates that I am here for "Dating," I'm also here for anything else... meeting people/groups for talking, friends, learning about things to do in the area, etc.

I moved to Jupiter Florida in 2007 from Texas. I know my way around, but always enjoy finding new and interesting things to do around here. I am always on the lookout for unique places to have fun.

I enjoy many things, simple and otherwise. Some of the outdoor activities I like include: hanging out at the beach, playing tennis, bicycling, hiking, swimming, and just walking around.
When at home, I enjoy listening to music, watching films, reading, cooking, and working on various projects. I also enjoy having intellectual discussions about things I find interesting (technology, humanity, life, the universe, and everything).

I enjoy a wide range of music types, with the exception of country and hip-hop. Some of my favorite genres include: Industrial, Classic Rock, Oldies, World, film scores, Opera, Classical, Metal, Goth, Trance, Techno, Swing. I could go on and on. I also love to be exposed to new types of artists, genres, instruments, and styles of music. I could easily spend entire days just listening to music.

I also like a wide range of film genres. Some of my favorites include: Psychological Thrillers, Science Fiction, Horror, Comedy, and Documentaries. I do not discriminate based on the language or year in which a film was made and I am disappointed in those people that do.

My ultimate goal in life is to be happy (what a surprise, right?). But I also would like to use my knowledge and skills to make things better for other people and humanity in general.


I am always looking to meet other people who are (or try to be) intelligent, independent, open-minded, goal-oriented, and have passions of their own that they like to share with others. If you think that describes you, I'd like to hear from you.

I'm open for just about anything, really. Whatever makes sense and is comfortable for the both of us. Invite your friends if you like. But preferably this would include somewhere quiet we can get to know each other and somewhere we can have fun. This may be a single destination, or could be a combination of places... Perhaps a live music/comedy/show and a casual dinner.
