11/24/09 Once again I'm attempting to quit smoking wish me luck


Update 7/19/09: Well I now do some karaoke, mostly sing country (don't quite know why lol) But it does make for a fun night out, and something to do other than just sit

I hate filling these things out, I never know what to say, to much and I look like an egocentric jerk, to little and it gets boring, but here goes..........
CHILDREN. Even though I like kids, I would really prefer a gal who does not have very young children (and I'm speaking of still in diapers) and/or does not want children. If you have kids, that’s fine, as long as they are good kids.

RELIGION. I am not a religious person, more spiritual, I was raised Catholic, but no longer go to church, it's not that I'm anti religion, but I found their way of teaching didn't suit me

WEIGHT. I could probably stand to lose a couple pounds, it's not that I'm obese, just my 6 pack has kinda grown into a 12 pack

HEIGHT. I'm 6'0" a little taller in boots, I'm not too picky about how tall you are, I would prefer a lady that's either shorter than I am or the same height

EXPECTATIONS. I'm gainfully employed, still, I have a college degree, I don't really care if you do or not, just be able to have an intelligent conversation, and please know the difference between there, they're, and their

APPEARANCES. I have shoulder length hair, brown with some grey in it, I don't look 44, most people guess me at about mid 30's, I do ride a bike, yes it's a Harley

PERSONALITY. I can be pretty much a quiet person till I get to know you, then out comes the smartass, I have a dry and sometimes off the wall sense of humor, if you like Monty Python, and other british comedys you'll likely get my sense of humor, or humour ;)

I'm basically just me, I don't like liars, I'm honest almost to a fault (but tactful) I don't like people who agree just to agree, if you don't agree with my opinion, that's fine, makes for some lively conversations, if you do or don't like something I do then speak up, I can't read minds, if you have a place you'd like to go then speak up, I'm pretty easy going, and don't get too hung up on plans
I can be very spontanious, I don't mind taking the left turn instead of the right, tho if it's a long trip I will at least have hotels booked, so we aren't sleeping in the car/on the bike
I like PDA's and not the electronic ones ;) I'll hold your hand, put my arm around you, or even kiss you in public, if of course we get along
I was raised old school, I'll open the door for you help you with your coat, say please and thank you, and I even know what all the silverware is for
I will ask you if you would like to go to, or do ______________ (fill in the blank) if you don't want to, again, please say something, I'm not a mind reader
I have friends that I like to hang out with, and I hope you do too, and I respect the need for your time, my time, and our time, but I will make time to see you
Music, I like a variety from classical to the latest hits, love the 80's new wave stuff
I like to go out and have a good time, that includes dancing (even tho I'm no Michael Jackson) I still enjoy it, I like a beer or 2, a good meal, I can even cook, and not just on a grill either
I never did learn to 2 step, but willing to give it a shot if you want to teach me
I also have a variety of interests, including photography, trivia, art, science, outside activities, car shows, I can even Ice skate, maybe not as well as I used to (not alot of places to practice in Kansas)
