Describe myself? what am I??? I think everyone has trouble with this part. My friends descibe me as very funny, easy going and smart. Politically, I believe in civil liberties but I’m a financial conservative. I’m very spiritual, yet feel no connection to a particular faith. I like to think of my self as a craftsman, someone blessed with very good strong hands. I’ve designed and built custom hardwood furniture, and recently I’ve become attracted to metal working, something about the fire and sparks. I’m a fisherman, something I'm very connected to, and it’s who I am. Mostly catch and release, it has the thrill of hunting with a happy ending. I love to ride my motorcycle because when I ride, all my stress goes away. I enjoy taking risks and having the skill you need to stay alive. A motorcycle is the closest thing humans can have to a mechanical/living thing. I’m smart, not MENSA smart but score well on IQ tests. I like puzzles, the challenge of another person’s cleverness. I’m a very physical person, I think I look d*mn good for my age and and work to keep it that way. I’m looking for someone comfortable in their own skin, happy and secure with themselves. The best way I heard it put was mutuality - two people living in the shelter of each other. You don’t need the perfect body or the ideal personality – but a little of both doesn’t hurt. Very important – you must enjoy giving and recieving affection. I like to touch, feel, caress, cuddle, and evrything that goes with that. Nothing over the top (maybe?) but a healthy respect for the pleasures of life. Music - I’m all over the map. Rock – blues – outlaw country - jazz – ballads. Education - BS from FAU – I’m particularly proud of this one. 7 years of night school, working full time during the day. I love creativity, so museums, cultural events and art shows are OK as long as it isn’t a steady diet.

I think the first meet should be someplace safe and public, like a drink or coffee or maybe lunch. That all important chemistry check. Then if things go well, then a full on second date, nice dinner, maybe go listen to some live music as long as we can talk, we have a lot to learn about each other.
