There is a poem that really makes a person stop to think...about their lives, their ways, what makes them who they are...defines you I guess is what I mean to say. It is called....The Dash...I wish everyone would read it and see if it doesnt make you stop and think. Maybe, just maybe, people wouldnt play games, wouldnt lie, wouldnt mistreat others...At least I hope
Im not here to be someone's playtoy. The internet has become the way to meet new people that you might not have otherwise had the chance to even know existed.
I have talked with some really nice people on here and for the most part, they have been respectful. As with any site, you get the ones that are not so respectful. My chat is disabled due to that.I wont explain why it is that I dont care to 'play' for some idiot.
Im a down to earth kinda woman. I dont want or expect others to be like me. Be yourself. I prefer honesty. If your looking for a roll in the hay, how about you check out a farm?
What it is I search for: A man who I can respect. Someone who can understand that no, I wont call you constantly, I wont message constantly. Im not 15 with 20 hours of a 24 hr day to do nothing else in. I have a job, a home, and family. I spend alot of time with my family. Family to me, is important! When I find that one that is meant for me, yes I will spend as many hours as possible with you. When I feel comfortable in the fact that you WANT to be in my life, you will have the opportunity to meet those that I hold dearest in my heart. I would love to share those people that have been my rock in life, my family. I have a very loving and kind family so I feel that I am blessed in just that alone.
I would love to find the one that I can trust totally. Love is unconditional, but it takes alot to get there. Im not asking for the world. Just the one that can stick with me, show respect and most of all not lie. I absolutely cant stand a person who lies. If your making plans with me, yet sending flowers to others..guess what? My trust in your hit the floor. In one second flat! That smacks..."PLAYER"!!! I try very hard to have trust in people and it only takes one silly little thing to blow trust out of the water. We have all been hurt in life, so everyone of us is a little more protective of our hearts.
I am searching for that one man that I know is out there for me. The one that will show me that no, not all men are alike. The one that will be supportive of my goals, my dreams and who wants to know what total love is. I dont do things in half measures. Dating is a scary thing sometimes, especially if you are dating someone that you like everything about! You want with everything in you for this one, to be the one. Sometimes we are lucky and find it right off the bat, at other times you have to kiss alot of toads, or so they call that.
Im not a mind reader. I have alot of talents, but reading your mind isnt one of them. Sorry, I wasnt blessed with that. If you think it, say it. Thats the only way I am going to know whats on your mind. Im rusty on dating. I havent dated in a long time, so things that others may take for granted, I dont. Im not a pushy woman. I wont push to find out what you are thinking. I feel that as grown ups, we should be able to say anything we feel we need to. So, no please dont assume I know whats on your mind. I dont. That is the best way for miscommunication to happen.
Call me selfish..but I dont share. Never have, and Im never gonna. When I am in a relationship, I am in it all the way. I dont cheat, I dont believe in it and Im never going to. There is no reason for it to happen. That is the easiest way to make me walk away from a person. It shows total disrespect and I dont want to be with someone who cant respect something as simple as that. If you are interested in me, better show me that. I wont guess you are! Im no different then most men or women. We all want that one person that we can trust 100%. We want the one that we know, even if we are apart has eyes for only you.
I want a lifetime. A lifetime to make memories, share dreams and touch another soul. I want the excitement, as well as the humdrum of life. Silly it may seem, but I would love to just see his clothes next to mine in the closet. We take so much for granted in life I think. I dont intend on taking anything for granted.
So for now, its friends only. All relationships take time to build, and friendship is the first step in that. Give me a reason to believe in you, and I will. As with every couple, chemistry has got to be there. If its not? There is no chance for a relationship. We love who we love in life. We are so not in control of that!

I love music..just about any type of music. I can be caught singing and dancing at times! My weekends start out with music and they end with music. I have some wonderful friends that mean the world to me. We, my friends and I...all love music and share the different things we find. Isnt that learning? hmmm...
