I'm just here looking around, seeing what is here :)

I like concerts, camping, plays, movies and just hanging out with friends being nerdy. Yeah I'm a nerd :) So deal with it :P Yes I like Sci-fi.. but only the good stuff, like Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Journeyman/Quantum Leap & Hereos. I used to be a Trekkie... I like vegetable gardening and grown quite fond of the Food Network show "Good Eats".

I had 2 strokes, November last year and February this year. I'm recovering nicely but it's work. Also, waiting on the final divorce papers. So all will be over with hopefully Dec 17th.

Because of the above, I'm moving to Addison in with my brother and selling my house in Commerce, TX. I'm moving the week of Dec 21st.

Oh, the children thing. A blood disorder caused the strokes and I have a 50% chance to pass it on the any children I may have myself. So, I'm not taking a chance - so I won't have children myself. Really - at this stage in my life, I'm not looking to have kids. I'm an uncle, I'll spoil my nieces and nephews.

I prefer to meet someone for coffee, tea or a soda for a first meeting. It takes off the pressure and lets you decide whether or not you would really like to date this person or not.

If you get past that..... then something a bit different. I like to go to this winery -- very laid back atmosphere. You can talk, listen to the live Jazz band playing in the back ground -- or even take a walk on the grounds. It's quite nice.
