Fishing (Boat, Streams, Rivers), snowmobiling, ATV's, gold prospecting, wildlife photography, astronomy, short hikes .... stuff that's far from the madden crowd ........ must like quiet settings.
I wrote this poem ... last Fall.

"The firewood is cut & stacked ...... fishing rods are tucked away.
The wood-stove keeps the Shire warm ........... now each and everyday.
Soon I'll have the snow to yield ...... the northern lights will dance.
It's just another Winter here ..... seems summer was just a glance.
I'll sip my coffee ...... and take my naps ..... and dream of salmon runs.
Cuz old Man winter is here to stay ....... eight months of frozen buns".
First Date
Coffee and a chat ..... then maybe a date (if we are compatible) ..... like canoeing a local lake, fish a wee bit ...... yep .... I'm Scots/Irish ... then a bite of dinner at a lodge .... then who knows what the next day will bring.
I'm not boring .... thats for sure.
