About Me
I am a guy who loves to laugh, I love to joke around. I try to never make anyone feel bad with my humor and also to bring people up when I sense they are down. I enjoy all the things you've probably already read with other guys, the walks on a beach, candlelit dinners and flowers and candy. But to me a night with some take-out and a Blockbuster video under a blanket is typically preferable. I like going to Wildwood, NJ for rides and games, Atlantic City for light gambling and a simple change of pace. I am currently in love with my beautiful niece Nicole, 7, and nephew, Tyler, 4, who own equal parts of my heart. I've really matured watching them grow. On a different note, I can do the club scene and go to bars, both of which can be fun, but it isn't my primary source of fun. I play raquetteball with my friends, and bowl on a league which really envigorates my competative side. I am starting to drive 18-Wheelers for the descent pay it offers as well as the tranquility of long drives, but I stay local and am returning to school once most of my finances are in order. I can hold my own in a fight, but never enjoy doing it, if someone reading this enjoys the occasional fight to keep things interesting then keep walking, life is too short.
I don't want "drama", just someone who can be a best friend that I would happen to date. My thinking is that if I can't get along with you as a friend, more shouldn't happen anyways. I'm not picky regarding the specifics of people, I always like meeting someone I can learn from, as well as someone who can learn from me. I'm easy going and curious to see if a dating site actually works. So feel free to contact me if I sound like someone you want to sit around and laugh with. Looking forward to smiles...
First Date
To me, a first date should consist of a few changes of atmosphere to see how well I can get along with the other person. Ideally, a first date could start with me picking the lady up, driving to dinner in a nice setting with good food and even better conversation, getting a real sense of the person you are with, learning eachother's story, then afterwards perhaps a comedy club for a laugh or two, or a movie is something good happens to be playing. Its nothing epic, I feel the first date should be something special, but the connection that two people can have towards one another is the key thing. The best date in the world with the wrong person means nothing, and meanwhile I could be ecstatic in a Denny's with someone outstanding. If you find someone you genuinely like, someone who is what you're looking for in another person, the magic will be there whether the date has every bell and whistle or not. I look forward to that magic.
