Probably the same reason many people use online dating sites, bars/clubs/parties are the worst place to meet people. I know what I want out of life and have spent a lot of time and effort to get where I am, career-wise, education-wise, and life-wise. I don't play games... like the Horton the Elephant, I say what I mean, and mean what I say. :)

A little about who I am... I'm a geek/nerd in normal clothes. Jocks are out, geeks are in and we're taking over the world (and actually have been for years). I just happen to be a geek that knows how to dress and has a hairstyle. ;) That said, I enjoy just as much time outside as "playing video games or wasting time online", as my mom would say. I'm open to trying anything, ALWAYS positive, coffee and rum snob, love movies (especially in HD - extra points if you have HD)... and probably more things I could laundry list off...

When it comes to relationships, I'm looking for some one who is completely open and honest about everything. That is the key to a successful relationship. You'd also better be HILARIOUS, well reasonably funny will do ;), smart, outgoing, know what you want out of life, attractive (looks are just as important as other qualities)... and probably some other stuff.

And I'm an all around nice person that would do anything for a friend. I don't kick dogs and always hold the door open for old people.
