I realize that most ladies never read the profiles, prefer to click and go to the next fish pond.

So do it now since so not to waste your time and because I have so much to offer a special lady with realistic expectations on life and relationships.

I am considered by my friends + I truly am a nice guy,( yes they do not finish last), who is seeking a special lady that is seeking to fill her heart with all the good things that a long term loving relationship can offer.

For the last several years I have been a Mr. Mom and that was fun, rewarding, but my son is finished college and basically only home for food + money + laundry = grow up fast.

If you are a single parent, I am sure you appreciate that raising your children and providing lifes skills , is a full time job and leaves very little personal or spare time. Children are so special, important and precious gifts, so you must devote the time and energy to guide them in their development.

If not, why ever have children.

As for employment, I own an import company, approximately 5 years old. It is has been growing very nicely and at a point where it does not need 24 / 7 attention.

Starting, growing a company requires a tremendous amount of time, focus and energy.

Being a realist, there was just not enough time to commit to building a relationship. It is not that I did not want or desire it, but I had to be honest to both my future best friend / soul mate and myself. I would not start a relationship until I could commit 110% and provide it with every onecessary to be successful. I do not like to fail at business and especially not in relationships.

So to be honest, it had to go on the back burner for a while..

My life is good but it is missing the a special lady to make it complete, balanced and totally rewarding for both. Since you are alos on POF, I am sure you can appreciate that life is so much more rewarding if you can share, dream & togethr build a rewarding future, together ..

Am I Mr. Perfect, no ( there are none ) - but then again, I am not expecting Ms. Perfect either . Just perfect in my eyes .

A bonus is that I can cook, actually enjoy, ( have lots of cook books = strange for a guy I know but I also have power hammers / skil saws / sanders / tool box etc > not used for cooking + fire extinguisher - used for cooking ), like to try different foods and if it goes up in smoke - there is a restaurant close by ..

Actually cooking together - romantic dinner that we both prepared and enjoy with a bottle of fine wine while conversing about the day, the future and our relationship, is a great way to spend an evening.

It is time to share + nuture + build the future good times with a lady that is seeking a loving relationship + family + friends - same as me.


I am not Dr. Phil but truly believe that for a relationships to grow and be truly rewarding to both, IT MUST HAVE COMITTMENT FROM BOTH.

I believe open and honest communication is mandatory and there are no boundaries on the subjects to addressed. Yes there may be disagreements but none that cannot be overcome with being honest and open to each other.

We are both adults and share a common goal, building a loving and rewarding long term relationship .

I am not judgemental - never have been and never will be since it is not my nature and I am not perfect - then who is ?

BASICALLY WHAT I AM SEEKING IS A CONFIDENT LADY THAT HAS HAD RELATIONSHIPS IN THE PAST - LEARNT FROM THESE AS I HAVE AND IS LOOKING FOR A NEW BEGINNING ..

Distance: Relocation is something that I would consider - open for discussion, after establishing a relationship, the right person.

Today is the beginning of tomorrow and with it, comes happiness, laughter, joy, romance, love and whatever we want it to be.

It would have to be something that we both would enjoy. Something that we have discussed and agreed to over coffee. Could be as simple as dinner and a movie - or drive in the country visiting antique stores -if it is nice day,lunch and wandering around ROM or getting tickets to a concert - there is always lots of stuff to do..
