Hi there. I recently moved to the Swartz Creek area, and am looking to meet new people. Ultimately, I am looking for an honest person who is interested in having something real with their partner. However, I am not in a rush for anything. I believe in order to have a successful relationship, you have to be best friends first. You have to truly enjoy each other's company, and agree with your views on life for the most part. If you feel that you can't tell the truth to your partner, then the relationship becomes fake, and I would rather be alone than have a fake relationship! I would like to be with someone that has the backbone to face the truth about whatever the situation is, because the truth is a lot harder to deal with most times, that's why people lie, because its easier! I believe in discussing the situation, no matter what it is. It makes things so much easier in the long run! I am honest and upfront, and very open about who I am, and I would need that from a potential mate.
I have been single for over 2 years now, after ending a 12 year relationship. I needed that time to heal, and I would not get involved with someone who has ended a long term relationship a few months ago and claims, "he's fine." I just don't believe that's possible! I have a 6 yr old daughter who is my whole world, and the most ideal man would be someone who has children or wants children. A single dad is very appealing to me. I don't play games or go out of my way to create drama surrounding myself. I am a great conversationalist, and need to be with someone who enjoys talking and can carry a conversation, and be comfortable talking about himself. I would get very bored if you can only say "Uh-huh, cool" while we are talking! I am very excited about meeting new people and seeing whats out there-say hi you never know what could happen!

I am very honest, an excellent listener, easygoing and patient. I am not a black and white thinker, I see things in shades of gray, which I believe makes me very flexible.

I LOVE to play Texas Hold Em, go to garage sales, cook a nice dinner in, I enjoy exercising-currently love kickboxing and taebo. I love to debate and discuss philosophy-like do other people have the same thoughts I do? How would we know? I can be deep, and just kick back and laugh and have fun. I LOVE going out for sushi and to the movies! I also love camping. This summer I took my daughter tent camping, just her and I! I also enjoy bike riding, hiking, playing soccer, canoeing and seeing waterfalls.


I have an Associate's degree in Social work and I want to help others reach their true potential. I am currently going back to school to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Ideally I would love to go out for sushi and see a movie, go to Gameworks, whatever! I don't think a movie on a first date is a bad thing, hopefully we would have talked on the phone and at dinner, right?
