I would like to find a someone to date/have a serious relationship with or be good friends with. I am a good friend, myself. I like to do lots of things, mainly have fun and laugh alot. I'm cheerful most of the time. There are never enough hours in the day for me but there's always tomorrow too. You have to be honest or it's a waste of my time. Life is too short to have to play too many games. I have two grandchildren I adore and have fun with. They are 8 and 6, girl and boy respectively. I found out about this website at a dance and the people there met thru this website and were there as a group and all seemed genuine and fun. I only want to date someone local, within 25 miles of me.

I like to have fun and laugh as well as be serious. I am a total female that goes from goofy to intellectual etc. , sometimes calm, sometimes excited, and like to be involved with someone who is man enuf to really enjoy a very feminine woman. Someone who is not conceited. Someone who can talk to me with their eyes. A hand holder. Just a man that likes himself,smiles in the morning, has a spring to his step, says what he means and means what he says...has a drive for life and knows how to manage his life, is slow to anger. Hoping to find someone special and the dating pool is not that good these days it seems. No. 1 on my list is someone warm and honest that's not afraid to be romantic and fall in love. People get hurt by their past and decide they don't want to open their hearts anymore. They might as well be dead. I have lots of interests and like many different people, can fit in anywhere almost. I have good friends and seem to keep them for a long while.

FIRST DATE: Doing something we both have in common and like to do, that might get our minds off all the new things we are encountering so we can be more ourselves and get to know each other easier.

WHAT PEOPLE NOTICE ABOUT ME FIRST: I don't know, I guess my blue green eyes (I am a swede). Some people friends say my demeanor is calm but shy. I make others feel at ease.

INTERESTS: I am very musical and love it, don't care for rap or polka (ha). Watch little TV, life is too entertaining all by itself, but do like an occasional good movie or comedian. I sang in a band in my teenybopper days (long ago). I have also worked for Space Shuttle and for a detective.

If I had not met you yet, I would probably just want to have coffee somewhere and meet and talk, or go see the keeper of the plains and take a walk. I think for a "real" date we should do something we both like alot and have in common - that makes it fun. I think that means a great deal in a relationship, it kindof gets your mind off of "us" and onto what we are doing, which should be to enjoy being together. I am a fun person but I can be quiet too and hope to find someone who is kindof the same. I give a lot in a relationship and am very supportive, and I enjoy the same in return.
