Friends would tell you that I am honest, faithful, have a great sense of humor--- that I am a lover of life, kids, pets, chocolate, the coastline, people-watching, photography, museums, flea markets, cold winter nights by the fire, cooking and walking. I raised my children as a single parent returned to school 'late' in life......one of the best things I've ever done! I love to read and usually have a fiction and a non-fiction going at the same time. I enjoy classical music especially string quartets and piano; some'jazz, and good dance music!

I am more comfortable with small groups at social occasions rather than loud parties. I enjoy cooking--especially baking. (I make a terrific chili and incredible chocolate chip cookies). I usually have a camera with me wherever I go......not professional, just a good eye with digital cameras.

What do I want in a relationship? honesty, integrity, a great sense of humor, respect for each other, laughter.......! to be able to share at the end of a day the good and bad, the ups and downs; being there for each other.

First date would be casual meeting for coffee/tea.......and perhaps a walk. Since the first encounter can be tense, it is sometimes difficult to judge a person that quickly..........it might be worth meeting second time when it is a bit more relaxed!
