So...one thing I've learned over the last couple years...I'm really bad at internet dating. Who knew? This isn't a good thing since most of my past serious relationships started out by actually getting to know someone BEFORE dating them.

So anyway...I'll keep at it...browsing profiles until one catches my eye and then debating on how to not sound cheesy or dorkish. I'm sure there is someone out there that is a good match for me. Like they say on the commercial "I'm just a goof looking for my ball...".

I can be a bit of an introvert around those that I don't know very well, so feel free to drop me a line if anything in my profile catches your eye. I won't mind...I promise. ;-)

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of some of the "list of demands" that you see on here. But since I'm admittedly not good at this, I thought I would give it a try in order to give a little more insight about myself. So here it goes....in no particular order.....

--Someone who is active or even athletically inclined would be great. I've never dated anyone that I could work out with. Bonus points if you're competitive.
--Someone who likes the idea of tent camping on Mustang Island as much as renting a hotel room. More bonus points if you enjoy fishing from the pier too.
--Sweet, caring, kind, honest, romantic, playful, and down to earth. All desirable traits.
--Someone who enjoys their work or, at the very least, leaves the job at work. I'm a good listener, but I don't always enjoy hearing about the catfights at work.
--Last but not least, someone who looks deeper into a person and would perhaps love me for who I am and not who you think you can turn me into.

Hopefully that doesn't sound too pretentious. If it does, please refer to the section above where I mentioned that I'm not very good at this. ;-)

Sometimes I enjoy cooking and sometimes.....it comes out knock your socks off delicious. If it's not flagged already, I've posted a pic of a chocolate stout cake that I made for Thanksgiving. It came out very very well. ;-)

I'm sure there is more that would spark my interest in a potential relationship, so if you think we may click....say Hi and let's see what happens. Worst case, you'll find a new friend for some shenanigans.

Pool or Darts are always fun and gives us a chance to talk. Coffee, a smoothie, some ice cream, or even a hike on a greenbelt is good too.
