Build me a farmhouse table and I'll love you forever. Never mind....I'm having one custom made. But you could always build me something else, cause I love the smell of fresh sawdust on a man.

I am an intelligent woman with simple tastes. I do not wear flashy clothes, expensive shoes or fancy lingerie. I do not need diamonds or jewels. These trappings do not define me. But, what I would like is to meet a good man who enjoys some of the same interests as me, a man who has a quick smile, honest eyes, integrity, a loving hand and a positive outlook on life. I would have chosen "long term" rather than "friends" in my profile but you can't get to long term unless you build a foundation upon friendship first.

I am originally from Savona, NY, a very small town in the southern tier. So, I am a country girl at heart, and enjoy going "home" for visits especially in the spring and fall, but winter is very lovely as well. And, for star-gazing, country places are the best places.

I enjoy many genres of music and movies (movie popcorn!!) and also relish snuggling up on a rainy day with a good book, and hopefully one day, a good man.
