I know there are good men in the world because I have actually met some..

I am a Conservative natured person (who votes liberal) - in other words a middle class lifestyle with a dry sense of humour.
(So if you're trolling, please don't bother me.) I am a size 18, I just had a personal trainer design a program for me, I am looking forward to becoming more fit.

Be in a good mood when you read this, as it is meant to make you laugh. Even though I am a very playful person,I am also strong willed and cautious .

For some of you, this is a sigh of relief, because at least now you know. For those who are disappointed - you will get over it....

I enjoy seeing the world with humour, even when it's a little dark. I am the kind of woman who thinks Dr Phil is sexy... you can recover from the shock now...That's right, you heard me, Dr Phil.

Fort Lauderdale (Spring break during college...lol)
Nova Scotia (Love the people and the Cabot trail)
Quebec City (Beautiful and romantic, Lots of history)
New Orleans (A rich history, great people and music )
Bahamas (Cruise - Nassau, loved Stirrup Clay )
Florida (went out on a Hydrofoil and did 360 's in the everglades surrounded by Gators) Loved Marco Island
Caribbean (Cruise - Mexico, Jamaica The poverty left an impression on my young son)
Universal Studios (our favorite ride was doing the chicken dance during Jimmy Neutron ride)
Cuba (Favorite spot in Cuba is Santiago DE Cuba, great music and people)
England (Loved the people, plays and place)
Vegas (The gambling did not hold my interest, but I loved the man made architecture)
Montreal (An amazing city to walk, even in winter)

How I feel about being single. I don't seem to mind it, to be honest. I also enjoyed having someone in my life, I was once a happily married woman till I lost my husband to cancer. So yes, I am looking, but I'm not in a hurry. In truth, I don't think you can rush these things.

Now that you have survived my bio.... there might be hope for you...

So - To let you know, I am a family oriented female ... who..... Drum Roll Please ...... Who actually cooks from scratch. Sorry to say, I do not cook on the first date, the second, the third.. you get the idea.

Updated..Right now, I am working on a cross discipline Bachlelors Degree in Computer Science and Finance. I also have an Electronic Technologist Diploma. So yes... I am a nerd. Which means I have the entire Star Trek Next Generation Series as well as Babylon 5.

I enjoy reading self improvement books, what ever the subject is. I know,I know your thinking" OMG not one of "those" I did say "I liked Dr phil..." lol

My boys are 26 and 7 ..no it's not a type-o....The eldest is out on his own and the youngest home with me... and yes, they are both sweeties.

I am attracted to a dry sense of humour. Someone who will bring me my sweater when I am cold. Someone who appreciates quiet, happy moments. Someone who loves to cuddle. Someone who is playful. Someone who has goals and an interest in the world. I enjoy the company of an articulate man who is confident and has an easy going nature with their family. Someone who doesn't mind working as a team to get things done, whether it be gardening, housecleaning or projects. Someone who is comfortable being themselves. Someone who overall, likes their life. The most important question i would ask, is do we bring out the best in each other.


WARNING.. I do not become easily attached to people. I am attracted to the character more than looks. I am cautious about who comes into my world, So although I date rarely, I choose very well. I will take the time to learn if our personalities compliment each other, and that our core values are similar. I can imagine what you're thinking... Wow, she was not kidding when she said cautious

Updated.. I am currently learning Spanish.... WOW, and I'm terrible....lol and I'm really enjoying it, eventually I hope to add French (I am trying to keep up with my youngest son...lol)

I enjoyed St Paddy's Day in Montreal with other single friends, and it was the best time. We laughed so hard and danced even though there was no dance floor...lol. I think we even outlasted the college students...lol
