I'm a Hartford area guy with a solid career, plenty of vacation time, and I have all sorts of things I want to do but at the moment I don't have the company! I still plan to use the tickets, go away for the weekend, take a vacation, and go to the reunions, but it sure would be nice to know who's going with me :)

What I'm like: I was shy as a kid, but you probably wouldn't know it now. I'm generally calm and patient, I don't overreact. I like small groups of friends over big parties with strangers, I love laughing over absurd things and crazy ideas. I'm not a gym-nut but I like to get some exercise in every week and play sports regularly. I always live in a nicely kept place. I want home to be comfortable. I am an IT guy but I'm a writing major and an art minor. Ideally, I'd like to be in a relationship -- that's what's missing in my life at this point and everything else is pretty well set. I see no harm in giving this a shot since it does nothing but possibly increase the odds of finding her.

For FIRST dates, I'm definitely someone who likes something casual and comfortable to see if there is any chemistry. I think breakfasts on weekends or summer ice cream at night are good ways to meet up and THEN, if we both want to go out again, we plan something more interesting and potentially romantic. But I think if both people feel at ease and like they're not stuck in a potential 5 hour first date, that's a good start. Somewhere between 8 minutes and 5 hours is good. :)
