| | Okay, here it goes... Where to start really? Let's get to the point. I'm on a quest for an interesting, funny, intelligent guy. I moved to Charlotte in October of last year, so it would be cool to find someone to explore this city with. I only ask that you haven't mentioned that you enjoy working out/going to the gym five times in your profile. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy staying fit and going to the gym myself...I just hope you have more to say about yourself than that. Extra points for the ability to form sentences. Double points if you are able to differentiate between the words "your" and "you're". Random stuff about me----I love anything art related, oil painting, photography, I love to read, watch a lot of films, I like to cook (and definitely like to eat), love to go places I've never been before. I have a strong desire to travel, though I can't say I've been anywhere too exciting as of late. I would be happy to share a pic with you...I can ASSURE you that you have nothing to be concerned about...I just have super paranoia about posting my picture on a site such as this.
An update: I GIVE UP on the your/you're thing. Ironically, nearly everyone who contacts me jokes about how they can relate to my annoyance with bad grammar, while simultaneously using "your/you're" incorrectly throughout their email. |

I think this is kind of a dumb question, though I suppose it may hint at one's personality depending on what one chooses. I don't think it's so much about the setting, but more about just getting to know each other. A restaurant would be a safe bet, and hopefully there would be lots of alcohol involved. I think coffee dates are stupid. Are we in high school? I get the whole...scoping each other out...we met ONLINE kind of a thing, but still....I'm desperately trying to figure out in a short period of time if you are not too much of a weirdo and if he have anything remotely in common before agreeing to meet up. Is this too much info?
BTW, what is your FISH personality? Are they serious? Gosh, maybe I'm a cross between an angelfish and a damselfish. It's a toss up. |
