This has got to be better than the bar scene I would think. I am so far past that stage of my life.
Separated 3 years, divorce final January '08 and now I'm wanting to get out and play!
My kids have grown up which gives me more time for me. Looking to find someone for fun and adventure. Not necessarily looking for my soul mate, but you never know what may happen.
I am comfortable dressed up or down, I can be just as happy staying home with a dvd and wine as going out somewhere. It's all about the company you do things with, anything can be a good time! I have a pretty wide variety of interests, not just what is listed above.

Can you actually call the first time you meet someone a date? hmmm... I think for a first meeting / encounter it should be simple. A coffee or a drink in a comfortable and not too noisy place. You want to be able to talk without yelling.
