Hey all. I hope that you are all doing well and finding interesting (good interesting rather than 'oh dear god' interesting) people around here. I'm looking to meet people that have a natural radiant humour and passion for life. If you don't like strong American Jethro/Salt of the Earth/She comes from farmers Midwest accents then you're going to scream when you hear me. :O) I enjoy music, dining out, country parks, arts festivals and people that think rationally about the world rather than knee jerk reactionaries. I love most types of music, especially jazz and the old crooner era of Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole. My best mate lovingly describes it as my 'old people music.' Nice. I'm also a huge fan of rockabilly and swing music. I spent a great deal of my twenties going to see rockabilly and swing bands around Milwaukee and Chicago. I have a great, but dry sense of humour as well as most of my friends. I enjoy a good running joke and will think it's funny each time that it goes around....sometimes to the degree of being a bit annoying. Eh. What are you going to do, that's just the way I am.

Also, come on now people. I had the courage to put my face up on a social site. How many excuses do you think we all believe? I can only hear so many 'my scanner/mobile phone/camera is broken/not working etc. Oh wait wait.....my favourite one was that 'he couldn't put his photo up because he had a high powered executive job and didn't want to be embarrassed by comments from fellow workers.' I have no idea. It depends but I think it's always good to hang out at a restaurant, coffee bar or social pub for the first meetup. That way at least you have half a chance of picking someone else up on the way out....now, you know I'm kidding when I say that, alright? Okay then.
