I'll fill this out later...crud...the site won't let me go further until I type more. How professional is a website that gives you a message like "The description field is to short"? USE "TOO", FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!

Okay, I've let this empty for months now, so it's time to fill in a little...I'm a father to two beautiful daughters, ages 9 and 12, and I absolutely love them. After 2-1/2 years of stalling, I recently got them each a dog. The dogs were adopted from local shelters; one's a black lab/border collie mix, and the other one's a blue heeler/lab mix. The heeler like to chew everything in sight, so it's become a challenge to keep him out of trouble. The black lab has become infamous in my neighborhood for her ability to jump my 6' picket fence-yes, it's a six-foot tall fence, and she gets over it! Did obedience classes with them and the girls, saw some improvement, but hey, dogs are dogs...

I've been divorced for about 1-1/2 years now, separated for 5 (we were too lazy to do the paperwork for several years). I was born and grew up in Michigan, moved to Kentucky, where I got my undergrad degree, then moved to Indiana where I survived law school, and I finally rolled out to Colorado, and I love it here. I try to work out (weights, swimming, boxing) as much as possible (been running with the dogs lately), get in some mountain biking and hiking, and maybe do some snowboarding this winter. My music taste runs mostly toward alternative music, having grown up in the punk/new wave era, but I count Steely Dan and Led Zeppelin as my favorite bands. As far as religion goes, I don't believe in monotheism-I prefer to think of God as the CEO of the whole shebang, with Jesus, Buddah, and the others as VPs (that's some gold parachute, eh?)...

I'd like to meet a woman who's fairly athletic and relatively tall. Having younger children is a plus, because you'd understand that I devote a fair amount of time to my daughters. Of course, a dog lover is also good now. A good-and somewhat twisted-sense of humor would also be appreciated. When I saw "The Dark Knight" I tended to laugh at parts where most everyone else didn't. I rank "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and "Monty Python's Flying Circus" as two of my all-time favorite TV shows, so that gives you a hint of what I find funny...
