I am outgoing and tend to find pleasure in all that life has given me. I enjoy reading, playing in the kitchen, working in my garden, hanging out with friends, listening to NPR, keeping up with politics, laughing. I am trying to learn how to play bridge and have just gone back to working out at the spa. I love to dance, and would like to find someone who would be willing to take lessons with me or maybe teach me yourself. Swing? Tango? Contra? The music makes me want to move. I didn't mean to imply I move well, just that it makes me want to move. Most men don’t enjoy dancing, so it is obviously not a deal breaker if you don’t dance. ;) If you enjoy playing games (Upwords, Scrabble, Boggle, cards, etc.), it is a plus.

As for religion, I was born Catholic, but stopped going to church when I went away to college. I revisit the concept periodically, but haven't changed my mind to date. I just think it is too much of a coincidence that the religion you were born into is the only correct one to be in… what beliefs would you have if you were born in the Middle East, or Africa, or…?

Some of my favorite things would include the way the air smells after its rained; the way my skin feels when I go skinny-dipping; the taste of homemade pancakes topped with yogurt and fresh strawberries; making love during a thunderstorm; listening to Rickie Lee Jones wail her tunes.

I seem to attract men who are loners. The next time around, I'd like to hang with someone who values friendship enough to have some. I am fairly liberal, so if you've voted Republican in the last 5 or so elections, I think we would have opposing value systems so you might as well save your time. ;)

Lets meet for breakfast at Breadman's in Chapel Hill. We can get to know each other at one of the area's oldest eating establishments, and if the chemistry just doesn't cut it, at least we will have enjoyed a great breakfast together.
