Hi there, handsome fellas! I'm just your average mom/teacher/country girl/brand new grandmother who enjoys life as it is handed to her. I'm laid back and very easy going --- laughing is my favorite thing to do. Teaching is one of my passions --- I find that kids are the fountain of youth, and since I don't plan on retiring until they run me off with a stick, I guess I'll just stay young forever.:) I have two daughters, ages 21 and 19. The older is out and on her own, and the younger still lives at home and is attending massage therapy school. I enjoy the simple things in life like taking long walks, looking at the stars at night, having friends/family over for dinner and cards or board games, watching a movie cuddled up on the couch with my fella, getting my toes wet in a creek, and slow dancing in the kitchen, but I'm also an a fan of more sophisticated and cultural activities such as concerts, museums, the symphony/ballet, art galleries, and going sailing with my parents. I'm most always up for a new adventure and I'm not afraid to look or feel silly (just ask my students). You know, when we hit that half century mark, it's all good --- and if it's not, ya gotta make it good.:) If you're looking for someone who is an eternal optimist, is independent, a great cook, and quick to smiles and laughter, then I'm your girl.
