Hmmmmm.. been back in Charleston for 2 years and haven't made that connection yet. My daughter convinced me to try this and I firgured why not, the bar scene isn't working for me. I enjoy playing a game of pool while having a cold one but it's much more fun when you have that "special" someone with you. I am a simple man with simple tastes, love going to the farmers market downtown or the flea market, more for people watching than the actual shopping. Love fishing but haven't been in a long time and play a really bad game of golf but love every minute of it. I am slowly learning to cook, have to since my daughter and 3 year old grandson live with me. Been told I have a good sense of humor and I am very honest so if you want to know something just ask. I drive an old beat up car but its paid for and still gets me around just fine. I am blue jeans and tennis shoes but do know how to dress up when the situation requires it. Would rather have a great burger or steak than a fancy overpriced over seasoned fancy meal. Hope that doesn't make me sound cheap because I'm not just more country than city at heart I guess. Twice retired (Navy and 1st civilian career) and now I drive a school bus, love it and still have my weekends free. I want to find that someone who likes holding hands, those quick little kisses on the back of her neck for no special reason, the woman who when we are somewhere and I see her across the room I can't help but smile at the thought that she is with me. Ok that's probably more info that anyone needs at first but if you managed to get all the way to this point then I know you don't bore easily! If you want to know more just ask and I can promise a straight and honest answer. Guess I'm about substance not style and much more interested in what's in your heart than what's on the outside. Something low key, heck we will both be at least a little nervous so maybe meet for a drink or coffee or maybe a lunch date where we can talk, laugh, and begin to see if there is that connection. No place in particular somewhere that YOU feel comfortable for a first date.
