About Me
I am 5'8 and I like to wear heels, so I would like to find someone who is around 6'. I don't like skinny men, so a few extra pounds is no big deal (but not 50). If it sounds like I am shallow, let's face it, you will need to get past the face before you can get to know the person and obviously there has to be an attraction. I am looking for someone to do things with, normal things like a movie, dinner perhaps, staying in and cuddling, going for walks or drives, a play occasionally, a good show at the Bell Centre, a hockey game once in a while. I always say I will try something new once, if I like it great, if not move on. I dislike emoticons (those little smiley guys), bad spelling and people who are less than honest. I like trucks, animals, books (any kind, but Stephen King is my favourite). Never tried downhill skiing, plan to this year. I try to keep in shape, but since I gave up soccer last year I do not play any organized sports except for dragon boating. I dye my hair, but that is the only "fake" thing about me. I can be sarcastic in my sense of humour, but at least I have one. I enjoy baking, am good at it. I can cook when the mood inspires me. I have two boys, 19 and 14, who spend half their time with their father. I am not a girly girl, although I do like to dress up sometimes, but I am feminine. I am honest and straightforward, don't like headgames and don't like to play them. I have not travelled the world, but I plan to start. There are many things on my list of "Things to do before I die". I have done a few, but I keep adding to it. I sound kind of cynical, but there you have it. What am I looking for: I find it difficult to put the things I am looking for on a list, sometimes I don't know what I am looking for until I find it.

First Date
First "date" is a misnomer. For the first meeting, obviously a public place where we can meet and chat, a cafe or a pub. If we like each other, perhaps a walk so we can chat and get to know a little about each other.
