I think I am unique in many respects. I am generally a relaxed person and enjoy spending tiime with family and friends whenever possible. Life is too short to live it uptight, I choose happy. I love to laugh and crack jokes with my friends. I love to see a live band play in a small bar or pub and dance and sing along. I love Georgia football. I love to ride a sea doo on a breezy day or take a ride on a boat.

I am searching for someone who will be my best friend and my lover. Someone who knows that what really makes a successful relationship is friendship. You can't really LOVE each other, if you don't really LIKE each other.

I am average in size and the real kind of average, not the Hollywood definition. I am 39 years old and have had a child, it will never be perfect again and I am comfortable and confident with myself. I do workout at least 4 to 5 times a week and eat well. You have just one body and should try to take care of it.

I believe that it is already too difficult to meet people, but that internet dating has made it difficult to really know someone. Too many choices to spend adequate time really getting to know someone. Too easy to make a split decision and move on to the next profile down your list. An endless buffet of possibilities to the point of never taking a chance with one of them. But, in the absence of meeting someone out in public who is right for me I will keep trying this and maybe one day someone will want to know me. I would love to go on more than one date with someone. LOL!

If politics are important to you, you should know I am a moderate, conservative about some things and liberal about others. Extremism on either side bothers me.

I say the following with a smile on my face. I hope that if you are interested so far, you won’t let this deter you. I have one child, she is 11 years old and disabled. I like to be as upfront as possible about it, because unfortunately it has ended up being a problem for some people in the past. She is a wonderful child, the light of my life; she is funny, challenging, sweet and at times stubborn. In every decision I make she is the number one consideration. Yes, having a disabled child can at times be difficult, but no more difficult than having an able’d child, just a different kind of difficult. If you have children and they are not your number one priority, we won't be right for each other. No one should ever come before them, not even you.

A few things I really enjoy are, horseback riding, seeing a live band play, alternative music, the Symphony, live Theatre, watching college football, a night out with my friends, riding sea doo's, boating and you may (and this is a big may) get me to go camping on a crisp fall or spring night with a warm camp fire and access to a restroom. No I am not high maintenance, just too old to squat in the woods.

My ideal first date? Something easy and casual. Maybe dinner and a nice little hole in the wall place where we can have a drink and some good conversation.
