I have reduced my involvement in my DJ Business and teaching and have been restoring and improving my home.

11/28/09 Update
I have completed 99% of my home improvements, replaced the radiator in my sedan, completed work on a new sound system to use with a dance club on New Years. Designing and building a light system for New Years,replacing the break system on my Van are my next projects. (with a few other things, I'm sure that will pop up)

I collect movies. Up to 661 DVDs at this time. I enjoy the older movies and I collect no blood and gore type of films. I read and collect adventure and historical novels. I have enjoyed enjoy Shakespeare in the park. I usually attend dancing in the park at Centennial before it gets too hot. I enjoy antique shops like those Bell Buckle, TN. I am the family genealogist, who is constantly behind.
I can cook and enjoy it when it is not just for myself.
I do most of my own auto repairs saving a heck of a lot of money.
I am a part time Mobile Disc Jockey and a beginners dance instructor.
I work a full time+ job during the week in the commercial door industry. Same company 11 years now. I live on a cash basis and save for things I want. I am debt free.
On and off I study how to write novels. With all these activities and more not listed, I have become rather some what of a recluse in my off time. I wish to make room for a special lady in my life.
I am a frequent pipe smoker; I quit cigarettes 10 years ago.
I enjoy wine with a good meal. I like a brandy and decaf coffee.

I have 3 sons and 4 grandsons. I hope to spend time with them and be of assistance as they grow and travel this life.

I was brought up Methodist for the first 25 years of my life,although I don't attend at this time. I believe and follow the Ten Commandments, the Golden Rule. I like animals but, people are more important.

I served 6 years, 1969-75, in the Army National Guard as a helicopter repairman. My youngest son is a career Marine. He is a Sargent with 6 years service and 3 overseas deployments to his credit.

I have been divorced for 18 years. Most women that I fancy want a guy who travels abroad, has a house at the beach, a condo in town, plays golf, owns a Harley, has a graduate or masters Degree and knocks down $75,000.00+ annually and doesn't smoke.
Works out at a gym and has 3-5 athletic activites.

Sorry ladies, I was born out of the wealthy part of town and from a period that smoking was legal almost everywhere. Therein lies the rub. I appreciate and admire women who have, with all the other challenges of life, taken good care of themselves. These seem to be in the upper income producing females of America. They have their weight in check, their hair is not chopped like a man, they wear clothes that fit and are at least traditional in style. She is, well...fresh; clean hair, kept nails and wears perfume as an accent and not a cover up. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. There is an inter beauty that out shines a picture perfect face and body with a childish attitude any day. Common Sense wins over intellect in my book. I have noticed though that the smarter women let us guys think we are the smart ones.
The lady would enjoy watching movies,music,dancing or have a desire to learn to dance.

I would like to boost my DJ business, create a weekly dance location, write a novel, create and produce a beginners dance video and fall madly in love for the last time
with someone who felt the same about me. Not necessarily in that order though.

For those who have read all the way to here; you are to be commended and have my thanks.

To finish; my deal breakers are dishonesty....age, photos, availability etc. Inconsistency of words and deeds, the inability to express personal needs and desires in a relationship.
Great relationships have chemistry, compatibility, compromise, commitment and comfort-ability. Let's see if we can find it.
