Hello. I'm a busy single mom with two great kids. I like to learn many things and to take time to stay healthy. I like reading, science, his/herstory, karate, scuba, surfing, hiking, music, musical learning, organics and much more. I am a free thinking progressive activist- oh yeah! I'd like to meet someone with similar interests.

Some things I know about myself are:

I'm not into really macho men- eeek! I tend to be very honest. I generally don't date people much over ten years older or younger than me. I really try not to date very religious people, nor conservatives- double eeek! It is a good idea to get to know someone as much as possible before meeting them. Still, it is also best to get out there and meet someone.

I rather like kind of winging it because it takes a while to know what people like. I like to go for long hikes, have long and interesting conversations, watch sunsets, see good movies, rifle through bookstores. Of course, a coffee to chat a bit is a good place to start. I'd like to meet someone with integrity and the ability to speak their mind and at the same time treat others with dignity.
