About Me
Wow. After my many experiences on this site, I feel that it is necessary for me to make a list of things that I am not interested in or I don't appreciate.

1) Please have current pictures of yourself.
2) Please use pictures of yourself and not your sister (I swear this actually happened to me)
3) If you are married, please don't list yourself as single and definitely don't ask me to be the third in you and your husbands freaky sex shenanigans.
4) If you are engaged and you are looking for one last fling, please continue to look elsewhere.
5) It's a tired saying but it's true. Honesty is the best policy.

Now on to the rest of my profile.

Well I finally made it back to Oakville. I'm going to miss Ottawa and the record breaking snowfall that we had this past winter. (sarcasm) The one great thing I love about moving is that I get to meet new people and make new friends. I put I am looking to hang out, because every time that I actively try to find someone to date, nothing happens. But when I stop looking that's when I find someone. So I just want to meet some women here that I have some common interests with and maybe a few things that I don't. If all goes well maybe it will become something more.

A little about myself. I come from a very large family (I'm the eldest of six children) and I am very close to a large amount of my extended family. Do you remember that scene in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" where the husband to be goes over to meet the family and they're roasting a pig on the fromt lawn. That's what my family is like except for two things. They're Croatian and they roast the pig in the back yard. I love to be outdoors and I intend to explore as much of Toronto as possible this summer. It would be awesome to meet someone who would like to do the same. If there is anything else that you would like to know, please feel free to ask.

By the way, if you want to message me please send me a picture of yourself if you don't have any on your profile. It's only fair that I know what you look like when you already know what I look like.

One thing I should mention before I forget. I appreciate being added to your favourites list, but if you don't contact me I will remove myself from your list.

I know it's hard to come up with something to say to break the ice sometimes so here is a little social commentary by George Carlin. Tell me what you think of it. Later!

> A Message by George Carlin:> > The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.> > We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.> > We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.> > We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.> > We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.> > These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stock room. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...> > Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.> > Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.> > Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.> > Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.> > Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.> > Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.> > AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:> > Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.> > If you don't send this to at least 8 people....Who cares?

George Carlin

"I should love to satisfy all, if I possibly can; but in trying to satisfy all, I may be able to satisfy none. I have, therefore, arrived at the conclusion that the best course is to satisfy one's own conscience and leave the world to form its own judgment, favorable or otherwise."> > -Mohandas K. Gandhi
