A bit about me; I don't have time to deal with those who choose to play games. I've been here a while and that's because I'm not willing to settle simply to be in a relationship. I don't need someone to "complete" me. I'm a complete person as I am and I'm looking for that special someone to share my life with. If you have any prejudices, keep fishing. I have friends and family from every walk of life and accept people for who they are, not who I think they should be. I've just started exploring meditation as well as other aspects of metaphysics and believe there is a lot of grey in what many see as a black and white world.

I believe the cup doesn't have to be half full or half empty. My philosophy is that there is always a pitcher close at hand to fill it back up. By this I mean that even in negative situations, I look for the positive and keep moving forward.

I haven't traveled much but plan to in the not so distant future. I'd like to truly experience the culture of the regions by getting off the beaten path and meeting the real people. I do however, love to jump in the car with no set destination. I never get lost, I simply find new routes to where I want to be or explore wherever I end up.

What I'm looking for; ultimately I'm looking for a long term relationship but I don't plan on rushing into anything. I'm looking for someone who enjoys time together but also realizes we all need our own space and friendships. Someone who enjoys concerts, theatre, day trips, BBQ's with friends and family or quiet evenings alone. Someone who enjoys an evening of making dinner together while enjoying a glass of wine and sharing what happened in their day. I enjoy having conversations with someone who challenges my own thoughts and beliefs but who also ultimately realizes we can each have our own opinion on things.

I believe in bringing humour into all aspects of my life and try to make sure a day doesn't go by without a smile...or three. OK, so I'm a smartass - plain and simple.

Well first of all, meeting for coffee or a drink at a pub is not a date, although one of our local pubs has a Guinness cake that is just this side of absolutely amazing! A first meeting for coffee or a drink is fine but if things go well and we decide to go out again, that would be a date and could mean many things. Dinner, a movie, a day-trip somewhere. Who knows. Isn't a date something that should be decided on by the two people involved so that they can both be comfortable and continue to learn about each other?
