I am a non-Englishman (with an accent) in New York, with a dry sense of humor and a passion for the arts. On summer days I bike around everywhere. At night (or on rainy days) I usually haunt the Lincoln Center in search of a good movie or show. I prefer Off-Broadway to Broadway, and the Film Forum to Loews, a Latin music dive to the Studio 54 (yes, I go dancing at times), and a dinner with my friends to a hip event among socialites (though I am comfortable almost everywhere). To me, character is way more important than fame or to success. I read and write both for work and for pleasure, and cannot live without substantial and intelligent conversation (though I enjoy being a silly goose, at times). I have definitely liberal-radical views, but I would rather talk to an intelligent opponent than to a craven yesman (or yeswoman, if you so prefer). I prefer to listen and learn from what I see: there's no day that I do not get the chance to find something new and interesting around me.

It strictly depends on the person. Coffee and conversation will always do, I guess, and also, if the season allows it, a walk in the park or around the neighbourhood. If there is mutual interest, certainly dinner or drinks, or comedy shows, or movies, or anything that we can improvise according to our tastes.
