| | About Me |
| | First, let me address my picture or lack thereof. I have one on this system and I'm glad to share it with you. Just ask. But, for reasons having to do with my job, I'm just not comfortable with posting it. Now, about me. I love biking, hiking, theater, baseball, fine and casual dining, music (especially listening to the blues live somewhere), good books and better conversation. I'm looking for a friend, confidant, someone with whom to enjoy all the fun things there are to do around St. Louis. If that eventually leads to a "relationship" and marriage, that would be great. I've never really been drawn to "magazine model" type women, but do like women who are physically active and smaller in size. But friendship, intelligence and an active and open mind are far more important than any physical characteristics. Despite my "advanced" years, I have custody of my two teens that live with me. They tend to keep me young and crazy — most people tell me I look much younger than my 57 years age, but perhaps they are just being nice to me. Now a couple of pet peeves. I'm a bit put-off by those who don't write/type in complete sentences. I want "how r u" to be "how are you." And I hate the word cuddle — not sure why, but I just do. And if you have "NASCAR" or "Harley" in your profile, we'll probably not be compatible, but I guess we'll never know for sure unless we talk. |
| | First Date |
| |
Nothing exciting here . . . I think the first date needs to be something where we can sit, perhaps have a great meal, and really talk — discover mutual interests and compatibilities. When we go our respective ways — we should have a clear sense of whether or not we want to get together again. Now the second date . . . there are lots of possibilities. |
