The word Serendipity is defined by Mr Webster as a wonderful, unexpected surprise. I guess, I'm hoping to have that experience here, (It's also a great romantic comedy by the way) A bit about me, I'm a 41 year old female who has been a nurse for more years than I am willing to admit. I finally gave in and moved into a management position about a year ago. I consider myself to be very lucky in the fact that I truly love my job. I have an awesome 12 year old son who I have an incredible relationship with. I can be pretty high strung at times. I was born and bred in the NY metro area, therefore I do everything too fast. I can talk on and on for hours about everything or nothing at all. My wit can be direct and sarcastic. I'm a realist who calls em as I see em, no candy coating things here. I can also be very sweet, caring, loyal and an incredibly good listener. A good friend of mine likened to to an M&M, you have to get past the hard candy shell to get to the sweet chocolate center. I am at a point in my life where I feel like I "almost" have it all. What's missing from my life at this point is someone to share it with! I enjoy many of life's simple pleasures, a good meal, good conversation with a good friend, a sunset on a warm night, football on a crisp, fall sunday afternoon. I'm looking not for the guy that I can live with, but the guy I can't live without. The yin to my yang. Someone whom I can laugh with, cry with, confide in. Someone who can put on a tux to attend a black tie event then come home and throw on a pair of sweats to watch the game! Someone who really doesn't "need" to be in a relationship but realizes that life is so much better when shared with the right person. Can it really be as simple as I am a nice girl looking for a nice guy? Lately I have been limiting my first dates to a cup of coffee, it's enough time to decide if you want to see someone again.
