Well, first thing is that I hate describing myself...how do you do so without sounding a bit arrogant?...anyways here goes...I am originally from Michigan and moved down here to pursue a career, which has turned out quite nicely. I am currently in grad school and will be done with that next June, from there I hope the sky is the limit. At the moment I am looking for someone to spend some time with, get to know and see what happens from there. I love doing stuff outdoors, and my favorite place in the world is Key West! I love to travel there and other places. I love to do new things, and hate to stay still although I do have to say that enjoy watching movies and relaxing at home in my pool. I am always trying to be positive..why not??? Life needs laughter. I like to go to the bars, but to be honest am at a point in my life where I can do without them for stretches. So that is me in a nutshell (well more like a small text box, but you know!)

I do have a daughter but I do not want anyone to think I am looking for a mother for my child. My dating life is COMPLETELY separate from her and will be for quite sometime. Therefore, as arrogant/jerkish (which I am truly not in the least) as this may sound, if you pass me up based on the fact that I have a child then I guess it's completely your loss.

An ideal first date for me would be going somewhere we can sit and chat. I think that the first time you go out with someone it is important that you can sit down face to face and get to know eachother, read eachother a bit. Now that may mean dinner, sitting on the beach, or even the cliche coffee shop. I feel that if it goes good from there then who knows what the rest of the night can bring. Maybe a movie, some dinner or dessert??? And of course plans of a second date.
