I am intelligent, passionate, and am looking for someone who I can enjoy my life with. And, no lie, I take horrible pictures, much better in person. Although I work in a bar, as soon as I can, I am going to return to finish my Bachelors degree in journalism (one year to go), then, if I'm feeling particularly ambitious in my middle age, I might proceed to law school...not because I particularly care for lawyers, mind you, lol, but I have always been interested in the law.

I'm the product of a great family, educated and creative parents, and a damn decent childhood, not the Cleavers, but pretty good.

What I want in a man...a wicked sense of humor, a decent job, intelligence, at least a passing interest in politics or current events (stuff we could talk about). I am not looking for a father for my son, he has one already, but I need someone who could become good friends with him...he is a joy.

P.S. I changed my status to single because I've been divorced for 17 years and figured it was silly to call myself divorced after that long. (Riley's father and myself were not married). Also, there was no option for smoker who plans to quit soon, so I cheated and put "occasionally." So sue me. I DO NOT smoke in my house or around my child.

I like...James Bond movies, Anne Rice novels (her early stuff), kissing for an hour, going out to dinner, spreading a quilt on the floor and watching DVDs with my guy, watching my baby boy do ANYTHING, Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns, posting occasionally on my blog (but I'm horrible at keeping it updated), drinking Corona, and many other things I don't currently have time for.

I am addicted to Law and Order reruns and was bummed when Jerry Orbach passed away...they dimmed the lights on Broadway for him that day. I enjoy live theater, art museums, and a good cappuccino, but I also like Mel Brooks movies and fart jokes...lol.

Also, PLEASE ignore my years-old forum posts, that was before I had a child and changed my attitude about some things, mostly things that should be private.
