I have moved back to Missouri after living in California for the past 11 years. I am seeking my new best friend and partner for life. I have been single and dating for a while now out of a 10 year relationship. I felt it was important to stay single for a period of time and date before looking for a ltr again. I consider myself still a little old-fashioned. I have my associates degree, and hope to go back to school at some point again. I consider myself a tom-boy and a girlie-girl. I am not afraid to get dirty, however, still get my nails done. I love animals, but prefer dogs. I love to do all kinds of things such as camp, fish, cook, read, watch movies, work in the yard, softball, road trips, nature walks, frisbee in the park, bowling, playing pool, etc. I am also open to trying new things as well. I am looking for an attractive, average-athletic man, who is honest, kind, loyal, hard-working, social, responsible ( however not a "stick in the mud"), laid back, confident, and who can communicate and know what that means. Someone who knows how to comprimise as well. The main thing is someone who is emotionally available and open for a friendship to build, and hopefully grow into something more.

A first date for me is usually not most people's idea of a first date. I like to bowl, or play pool on a first date. It is a much better idea to be able to do something instead of just sitting across the table staring at each other.
