I am a multidimensional person. I have a lot of varied interests-I love art, travel, music, spending time with friends, winetastings, trying different cuisines, and experiencing different cultures. I participate in an occasional sports activity. I enjoy being on water, no matter if it is a river, lake or ocean. I love to read. I am interested in plasma-cutting metal and working with glass, even though I do not have a lot of opportunity to pursue this hobby at the time. I like to cook, especially if I have someone I care about to cook with. I am always interested in learning new things.

I think the best way to initially get to know someone is to have a few brief emails and phonecalls. I am not looking for a penpal, and prefer to meet someone in a decent amount of time to see if we have chemistry that is worth pursuing. A first date might involve getting together for dinner at a restaurant that suits both parties, or even just a meeting for a cup of coffee or a drink.
