I like music quite a lot, I play guitar and a few other instruments but right now its mostly guitar. Aside from music I am pretty into science and just plain keeping up with the goings on in the world. I also try to read a lot. I keep up with the news and am usually interested in discussing the topics of the day which is sometimes a good way to get to know a person (i.e. first date fodder).

I tend to be skeptical which should not be taken at dismissive however that does tend to make me fairly liberal. I'm not a fan of god and his followers but have a more existential outlook. Also I'm vegan, its never been an issue with relationships and I really don't care what you eat, I'm primarily vegan for non-moral reasons.

I like to feel productive but I can get lazy which I hate - I can usually get myself out of an unproductive period but its always nice to have someone there motivating me and ideally thats what I'd like to find and what I'm really after.

I'd like to meet a girl that has an interest in science and things that look cool and sound good. Generally, I'm in it for the long haul.

A good first date for me is going to a quite place for a few drinks (coffee or booze, either would be fine with me). Conversation is the most important part of a first date. Going to the Avalon for a movie and some games can be fun but maybe not the best first date. Roaming powell's and hitting up ground kontrol is rad as well. shows are also fun.
