Welcome to my little spot in the fishmarket...

Maybe if I tell you what a few of my shirts say, will give you a good idea of my personality:

That's pretty much it in a nutshell... I have cats, crap and can laugh about it.

I like dogs too, but I'm not home on a consistent schedule enough to be a decent dog owner.

I just finished reading the Twilight series. I try to read books before seeing the movies. It was no Harry Potter, but it was definitely a creative take on the vampire legend. My favorite author is Tom Robbins and if you ever get a chance I highly recommend Still Life with Woodpecker.

The last movie I really enjoyed was The Hangover. It's the first movie in a long time where I didn't mind the person next to me being the Screechy-Laugh-At-Everything person in the theater. Groundhog Day is my all time favorite (followed closely by History of the World, Part I and Monty Python's Meaning of Life). However, I'm easily entertained - I also thoroughly enjoyed Land of the Lost.

I prefer jeans and t-shirts to dressing up. I usually manage to hit the Ren Fest, Busch Gardens and Hershey Park at least once a year. I also attend Horrorfind in Baltimore when I can - it's really kind of fun to meet the actors behind all the makeup. Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) is absolutely the nicest guy I've ever met.

Outdoors I enjoy hiking, snow skiing, rollerblading and just about anything else that sounds fun (I don't think I can do the jumping from a plane thing, bungee jumping is as close as I will ever come to that). Not into hunting or fishing.

Hobbies: I enjoy making costumes and dollhouse miniatures (usually with a haunted motif). Halloween is my favorite holiday - decorating for trick-or-treaters or making eerie food for parties. I enjoy games - everything from billiards to Texas Holdem, (but no one will play Pictionary with me).

I can't watch TV without doing something else. I'm newly addicted to hulu dot com since I can surf the net while it plays in the background... Favorites I've found there are Burn Notice, Dead Like Me and of course The Daily Show. Gutter humor is appreciated, people who laugh at their own jokes, mm, not so much.

I'd like to meet someone who is down-to-earth, sharp, empathetic and mostly happy and content. If you're into personality theory, I'm an INTP and tend to click with INFPs.

A wry, intelligent sense of humor is my Achilles' heel. While the other girls are fawning over Hercules, I'm batting eyes at the jester. Maybe - I'm a lousy flirt.

Billiards is always good, then at least you're doing something fun if the chemistry isn't there. Although first dates over a drink are probably best, since I believe most people can tell in 15 minutes, or less, whether they click or not. Read Blink, I highly recommend it!
