I would rather hear the soft nicker of my horses at feeding time. I can’t swim, and have no desire to go to the beach. Golf, operas, plays and card games are boring. I have a life somewhere. All I need to do is find it again.

How about coffee and donuts at the Palo Duro Canyon State Park visitors center, near Amarillo, Tx. Dinner in the Skies Restaurant at the top of the Hyatt Regency in Kansas City. Bar-B-Que rib salad at Cartoons in Springfield, Mo. Dinner at the AQ Chicken House in Springdale, Ar. Or maybe a sandwich track side at Remington Park, in OKC. Well, maybe those are for a second date or so. We should probably just have coffee somewhere quiet. |
