About Me

Not much to tell. I'm looking to meet a man with a "heart." A heart capable of decency and fairness. I'm easy going, fun-loving, kind, patient, understanding and lonely. I truly need friendship first to hopefully turn into something grander. I have two adult children and three grandkids. I am pretty much all about family, work, school, etc., and need more fun and diversity in my life!!! I live in "no man's land," Florida, so it's hard to meet people - hence reaching out via this site. I seem to keep meeting men that don't work for me, nice, just no heart. I'm looking for someone to fall in love with someday. What works for me, well kept house, both parties keep it that way,IE, yard, garage, etc. Friends over for drinks and barbeque, tanning by the pool, deep conversations, go out now and then, travel on occassion to tropical places, oldies and Ragae music, star watching, relating feelings to each other; always in a playful mood, keeps his appearence up, confident, high self esteem (but not stuck on himself). Touchy feely personality, cooking together, causal life style, going out of the box now and then, very open minded, down to earth, 100% honest, not judgemental, balanced personality,someone that is real happy, most of the time, and financially responsible. My ideal man would be cleaver, even to the point of being a smart ass but also have a dorky, quirky side? I don't want someone who is too insecure or too shy to try new things. He should stand up for people and things he believes in. He should be emotional enough to be romantic and understanding but not so much that he is weak or a push over. I do not get along with extremists or control freaks. I like open minded individuals who can converse with their SO about EVERYTHING - that means he can listen as well as speak from the heart. Sincere, honest and fair. I think I just described the "perfect" man - well we all know - nobody's perfect!!!

First Date

Depends on where the first date is: It could be a picnic, dinner, lunch, breakfast, biking, etc. Just something simple to spend some time, talk, walk, bike, play. I'm not interested in highly romantic first-dates because it takes me some time to get to know someone well enough to get to that point.
