Searching for someone who may not be perfect but IS perfect for me. Right now I'm content being single. Yes! I am extremely picky, but I think I owe it to myself to be with a man who makes me happy.
Most people don't believe me when I say this but I am VERY shy. So I have a hard time meeting men. My passion is dancing. If the music stays cool, I can dance for hours. For the last five years I have been taking classes in Middle Eastern dance. Men will tell me ''oh you must be in great shape." Well, hate to disappoint, but I am not skinny. I am MORE than a few lbs overweight, but NOT shopping in BBW stores either. I consider myself thick and curvy. As for my other hobbies, I enjoy photography. I take all my own photos and keep them updated. Some of you guys could use some help for better photos (not to mention fashion sense and dance lessons). I love all types of music (except country) and all types of movies, from horror to romance. I have some goals and dreams I'm still hoping to meet. One is to become a world traveler. Egypt and India are tops on my list of getaways. I also want to finish my sequel to my book and find a literary agent to represent my work. I've also thought about maybe someday leaving the states and teaching in another country. I'm extremely interested in other cultures. (my minor in college was anthropology). I'm a shopping addict. I love getting new clothes, shoes, all the bath and body stuff.
So what do I want? Here goes. (yeah I know some of you will get angry, but oh well.) 1. I love caramel colored skin and am most attracted to East Inidan men. 2. Non smoker. (that means weed and crack too) 3. Limited drinking (I do not drink, never been drunk, and don't like being around people who are) 4. Liberal minded. (I vote Democrat. Richardson was my first choice, maybe Obama will pick him). 5. Non racist and tolerant of all people regardless of race, religion, cultural background and sexual orientation 6. Have some kind of fashion style. Not the typical polo shirt, pleated khaki pants, white sneakers. I'm not into the biker look, nor the redneck look either. So no confederate flag on your pick up, nor your tshirt for that matter. 7. College degree or at least some higher level of learning. Know what is going on in the world and actually give a damn. 8. Understand my dancing. I'm not giving it up for you. 9. Have current photos. A lot of men on here have the same photos up that they've been posting on various dating sites for five years. YOU DO CHANGE! 10. I tend to date younger not older. If you are older realize that I have a VERY youthful state of mind. Be prepared to keep up. 11. Be in reasonably good shape. I'm not skinny but I do dance regularly so I can move without being totally out of breath. 12. Shorter men rejoice. I actually prefer men who are close to my height! Not too much taller. 13. I don't like facial hair. A goatee is ok, and maybe some stubble, but a mustache is just too old fashioned. It worked on Tom Selleck in the 70's and early 80's. This is the 21st century guys and mustaches AGE you tremendously. VERY few can carry it off. Wait no one can. LOL 14. If hunting is an activity you enjoy, we will NOT get along. 15. No gangsta wannabes, or real ones. The gangsta rapper look might work until your 18 but after that time to grow up. 16. THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT! Be ready emotionally for a relationship. I'm not looking to date, to be friends and see what happens, to hang out and get to know you. I am looking for someone I click with and who feels the same way about me. Who is ready to pursue a relationship. I do not date a bunch of different men. I find one I like and see where that leads, but my intent is always clear. LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP. If it doesn't work, or I see issues I don't like, then back to square one. But I will not get involved with anyone who is not on the same page as me. It is just a lesson in futility. And will only cause hurt feelings in the long run.

i don't drink and I'm a vegetarian. I love Italian, Chinese, Mexican and Middle Eastern cuisine. I've recently discovered Indian food and it is fantasic. So many vegetarian dishes!
