| | It's almost the new year! Anyone interested in going cross country skiing, ice fishing, snow shoeing, or kayaking on the river after a fresh blanket of new fallen snow? I'm game, you?
I'm using this site to meet new people. Let's forget the weird pleasures of dating and just have some fun. ...oops I meant to say PRESSURES of dating. I'd like to get together to do some of the activities I've mentioned under my 'interests'.
I love to laugh and hear the sound of laughter. I'm a mentally and financially secure woman that has been told has a decent sense of humor. I don't play games...other than card or board games. I'm honest and trustworthy with good old fashioned values about life, money, responsibility and friendship. I'm learning new things everyday, and at 48, I think I finally get it...or at least I'm getting closer!
I am looking for a 'few good men'...okay, not really...just ONE honest, fun loving, playfully nice guy that would be interested in getting together.
I'm low maintenance and self reliant. I'm not a home body. I love keeping active. I love doing yard work, love to cut grass, I snow blow my own driveway, attempt to repair most plumbing problems, bait my own hook, I count ALL golf strokes, I love hanging out with my friends; be it on a pontoon boat drinking cooler cold beer, or floating down the river in a kayak with a fishing pole in one hand (in the summer time, that is) or sitting around a campfire singing the oldies. I'm the real deal...what you see is who I am.
So, what are you afraid of? Don't be scared. The worst that could happen is I out fish you or you beat me in a round of golf or I skunk you at cribbage. And who really cares. I'm a good winner and a gracious loser.
And who knows, perhaps in meeting a new friend we'll both get to try new adventures and possibly make a stronger connection.
