I was born and raised a country boy with old fashioned beliefs and values. Yes, the whole holding doors open for strangers, treating people kind, being polite, a positive outlook, yep that's me.
I have lived in cities bigger than Edmonton, I just don't like them. Concrete jungles are nice to visit. I love the country and it feels like home.

Bar stars need not apply,not that i think there is anything wrong with that, it just doesn't fit with my life at this time. One of those been there done that kind of things.

I do have a list of things I look for in a partner and honesty,being respectful and ability to communicate with a partner are some of the ones on the top. As for the rest of them, well we can talk about that later. Lets just say that I'm not picky but looking for someone who can appreciate a sometimes shy and quiet, old fashioned guy.
Make no mistakes I do know how to have a good time.More of a thrill seeker, a quiet night in or outside having drinks with friends.

Ok so I was told to add this because it's true. I speak my mind, not in a being rude kind of way but more in a brutally honest kind of way. It's usually not a bad thing, at least I don't think so.

There is something to be said for balance. As I strongly believe that in order to be happy in ones life you must have balance. This has seemed to work pretty well so far in my life and I feel it is just as important for a relationship to work. Partners who are equals. Maybe sometimes I might have to give in to my partners wants/needs because she said/did something for me before.That's just real life and there is nothing wrong with it. If there is anything I can do that will put a smile on your face or make our relationship stronger, guess what? Seeing you happy is all that matters.

Often in relationships I can be described as being like a mirror. If you listen,give love,respect and are understanding that is what you will get in return from me.

It's not how a two people get along when things are going great,that's the easy part. It's how you act if things get difficult. Can you listen to your partner and their needs,offer support/comfort or do you just close up?

Guess I couldn't think of everything all at once so I have yet another thing to add. I know, it's getting to be a long list but it's for the best.


You don't need to have this novel for a profile that tells me everything you have done since you were born, we can talk about that over dinner or something.

The Woman I am looking for should be happy with the way she is and not afraid to show it. I'm not perfect nor do I expect her to be.
