So, what are you looking for today? A "great catch" ? Look no further! LOL I am independent, educated, classy, great job, I have creative interests outside my work & friends, and I'm talented, sweet and fun! I have two great young adult sons living with me, until they both head off to College next fall. I have lots of cool friends, but no one special just for me--yet! Maybe it's you?

-I have a brain, and I use it frequently. My employer prefers that I use it at least Mon-Fri.
-I have a career and I'm financially savvy.
-I am emotionally stable and not addicted to any substance; I quit smoking 5 years ago. Never been arrested either.

-I love my parents, children and friends and I back it up with action, not just words.
-I've been described as a 'walking encyclopedia / thesaurus / spellchecker'.

-I don't NEED a man to rescue me or fix my mistakes. I'm looking for a man to be my partner, a companion to share good times, make new memories, support each other when we're down... normal stuff, right??? RIGHT???
-My friends say I intimidate men because I am smart, successful, independent and don't take any crap from anyone. I'd love to find someone interesting who can REJOICE in those qualities instead of running from them. I'm still feminine, flirty, and fun, just not a push-over.

What I'm looking for: Someone with similar qualities and interests - Sincere, honest, intelligent, emotionally stable and financially responsible, likes his work, wants a social life and someone interesting to share it with. If you like live theater, live music, that's a big plus. I enjoy a great meal with great company at home as much as going out. Is that too much to ask for? I sure hope not. I'm interested in dating which will hopefully lead into a long-term relationship. Dating means spending time together - going out - for a meal - for an activity - the point is to get to know each other and enjoy each other's company.

What I DON'T want: Married guys, any version of a liar, guys from out-of-state (Chicagoland only, please), or over-grown "boys". I'm interested in meeting available, stable, attractive, positive guys who are interested in dating, spending time together, and getting to know each other. And let's not forget the obvious. You must have a full-time job, a working car and your own place (living with your kids is fine; living with your parents / relatives / friends over the age of 40 is NOT).

One more thing - Sorry, but I am NOT into motorcycles, Harleys or otherwise. I don't mind if YOU are, but don't expect me to ride on one. I am also seriously against hunting, have no interest in casinos or NHRA / NASCAR.

On a first "meet & greet", I prefer somewhere conversation friendly, for a beverage of choice, so we can talk and get to know one another and see if the connection takes off. After that, a real date could be anywhere we both feel comfortable: a nice dinner, exploring the city or doing some window shopping, a picnic, seeing a live band - it's all good! I can have fun anywhere with the right company!
